Would be good to have the ability to add a note to an individual employee's Payslip

    It would be good to be able to explain a post tax deduction on a pay slip. These deduction could go to difference expenses so a note would be great.

    be able to add notes for both employee to see and employer, notes essential so you can go back and make a note of why employee was short paid that week etc. rain day, p/H (casual), etc A note employee can see to know why his pay is short/over/bonus etc and a note for employer records only.

    In each pay run, I used to add notes pertaining to weekend/public holiday/ overtime pay with specific dates for which these apply on Quickbooks Payroll. This very useful feature is not available on Reckon. It helps especially for casual employees who do shifts as needed.

    Would it be possible to have a note section that can be added each pay run for individual pays rather than writing in their general profile?

    There are often times when a note is required to all employees as well as individually and it would be easier if it could be added as a drop down prior to "Mark as Paid" or "Sending Payslips" as a one off that is sent for that pay only. That way we don't have to go into everyone's profile each and every week to adjust/add or remove any previous notes.

    Thanks for raising this idea. Would you want this note to be an internal note that stays within the pay run in Reckon One for you or would you also want this note to be sent to the employee(s) with their payslip?

    Hi Rav,

    To be sent on their pay slips. Notes in their profile is great for making any comments regarding their employment, pay changes or official warnings etc. They could stay there if only viewed by the Company, but I am talking about the ability to be able to add a note at each pay. Like to remind them of an issue or to inform them of an upcoming event. Also if it could have a box that is ticked for all employees in that pay or individual messages.

    It is a fact of life that once Payruns are completed and STP report submitted, an error is sometimes found. its no problem correcting the error and submitting an STP Update Event, but in the Book there is no trail of what has changed. A notes field either on the Payrun or accompanying the STP Report, much like notes fields are available on invoices or on the View History link of many transactions, would be useful to note what was changed and why.

    Provision for notes to be written on payslip please.

    Also an employee notes/diary section. This will enable notes to be written next to dates of personal Leave, annual leave etc.

    Previously used Cashflow Manger. There was a Leave section for each employee and an Employee Diary. Important to have all this info in one spot. Thanks so much!

    Thanks so much for raising your idea. I've merged it with an existing idea that sounds very similar to what you're looking for so that's all in one spot.

    In regard to employee notes, check out the Notes section within the employee profile. This allows you to add key info specific to the employee.

    Hi team! Just going to add a quick little update on this idea.

    I've merged the separate ideas that we had in relation to notes on payslips into one along with the total votes.

    More importantly though, we've now added this idea to our roadmap to work on later this year πŸ™‚

    No timeframes just yet as the team have a few things on the go at the moment but hopefully it'll come through toward the 2nd half of the year.

    I'll keep you posted on this one πŸ™‚
