Do I have to register my employees with CFS to use the free clearing house service?

sorry I have another question … I have not previously registered my interest, and I don't wish to register any of my employees (there are only 3) with CFS which is what the registration forms seem to be asking me to do. Which forms do I need to fill out to get started for the Clearing House?

you don’t have to register your employees with CFS. You have to register the company with the clearing house which works exactly the same as the ATO clearing house. They can have any super fund they wish. Often these companies simply ask that you make them the default company so that in the case of an employee not giving you their super details you can sign them up under the CFS fund

Hi @Clevedon,

As the First Choice Super Clearing house is now live, you should be able to sign up and use the clearing house. I do not know the specifics of the sign up process, but I believe you just need to enter the business details and go through the wizard like I've seen reported by other users on the community.

Sorry, I don't have a concrete knowledge base just yet for the process.

How can you not know the process after all the hoopla made about this and with payday super coming soon?

I found with Australian Super, that the process was

When that is accepted I could then login with the username and password they gave me

Then register for the clearing house.

Setup super details in Reckon employees and then import Saff file to clearing house
