Why doesn't the install program start when I insert the DVD or click on autorun.exe?

I just purchases Accounts. I put it in the dvd drive and nothing happened. I clicked on autrun.exe and I get the message "do you want this program to run etc" I click yes - then nothing. I tried upload the disk to my hard drive-same problem.

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

It sounds like a permission setting on your computer is restricting what you can do off the DVD.  

Here's a quick workaround - create a folder on your C-drive and copy the contents of the DVD into that folder.  Then launch setup.exe from that folder.  

Another path is to download a trial version from  http://home.reckon.com.au/support/Home/Downloads/TrialDownloads.aspx.  Ignore the IKC that is sent you and use the one that came with your purchase.
