I can't get in to label any of my products I can't change anything in administrator but I can transfer files between QuickBooks and quickpos,
I would love this issue solved I haven't been able to find any information on this issue

    Hi Aaron,

Are you referring to Reckon Accounts keeps crashing, or POS administrator keeps crashing?

If Reckon Accounts, have you tried verifying and/or rebuilding your data file?

If POS Administrator, have you tried Compacting and Repairing the Database?

When was the last time you posted all transactions, and transferred data from Accounts?

    Kind Regards,

    Zoe

Hello there it is actually the administrator program that keeps
closing every time I clip on the item list, basically I can't access my items in administrator to price barcode or anything, it shuts the whole program down,

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software I have verified and rebuilt the data,

and QuickBooks says the file is fine and doesn't show any errors.

I have compact my data file and an posted the transaction files to QuickBooks.

I have done all those things previous to sending this message as I to figured that might fix the problem.

Unfortunately all those things have been tried and I can't seem to get into my item list in the administrator

what else could I try here?

Can I send you my QuickBooks file to see if you can open it in administrator,?

    Thanks for your time

Hi Aaron, have you uninstalled and reinstalled Point of Sale or Reckon Accounts (QuickBooks) or both? What if you try from the lists drop down menu instead of the icon? Does that work? Feel free to email me directly at sally@samsolutions.com.au if you wish. Kind regards, Sally

    Hi Aaron,

You could try to create a new database. Make sure that you have finished end-of-day and Post.
To create a new database file.

    a.    Close POS Terminals and Administrator

    b.    In Windows Explorer, rename the existing PDB file by adding .old

    c.    Launch POS Admin and create a new database file.

If it works with new database, that means your old database is damaged.

    Regards
