    Hey Lori,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

There has been a very small number of users who have experienced the MAPI error you are experiencing.

If you are receiving this error, we recommend performing a clean uninstall of Office Outlook and then reinstalling it. As this users who have experienced this problem have had the most success with clean uninstalling Office Outlook and reinstalling it.

Note: This step did not work for all users.

More information can be found in this article: http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=3775

Let me know how you go.

    Cheers,
    Mirko

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled MapI error code 80040119 (281) at line 921 in sendmail.cpp. ok, I am receiving the message - An internal error occurred while preparing your message. It has not been sent. (MapI error code 80040119 (281) at line 921 in sendmail.cpp) I am only trying to send a single invoice using reckon accounts easystart 2014, with an OS of windows 8 (have refused the 8.1 update thus far) everything is configured correctly, is it possible to export the invoice as a pdf file to save on desktop so I can manually email the invoices?

    Hi Paul,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Quickbooks/Accounts Business Pro and higher versions do have a separate Save as PDF function under the File menu option.

    regards,
    John

I am getting this almost every time I try to send an invoice. Not happy. This issue has been happening for 2 years now and still not fixed. This worked perfectly in Quickbooks, but since the change to Reckon Accounts, it has been variable at best. To say that the issue is caused by Outlook seems strange when this problem doesn't occur with any other program - only Reckon Accounts. As the simplest cause is usually the correct one, it would seem that Reckon should work out what in their program is causing this and fix it. We certainly pay enough for the program.
