I have an error come up every time I create an ABA file. My bank error is "The "From Account" details must be entered."

How do I fix this in Reckon Accounts?

Thanks

    I'd love the answer to this as well. When I try to create an ABA file there is no "From Account" showing. When I import the ABA file to NAB online it comes up with an error and there is no bank account info .

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Wendy,

    What areas of the program have you already checked or what attempts have you made to try to resolve this issue?

    Have you ever successfully created an ABA file and imported it into your banks online banking portal without seeing the error that you have encountered?

    Can you check the bank account in your Chart of Accounts that is enabled for online banking and confirm that there are banking details set.

    Confirm that the following fields are populate with the correct info:

    * the Branch Code
    * Account Number
    * APCA Number

    Thank you very much for your reply! I have never been able to create re ABA file without this error. I have all those details entered EXCEPT the APCA number.. I've set up other clients without this and haven't had a problem... I don't export payroll with this file. Thanks again

    Hi Wendy, Do you have "include balance record" ticked? I ticked this and it seemed to fix my problems. Not sure it will help you but hopefully :)

    THANK YOU!!!! Yes that worked. I didn't see that explained anywhere, so I left it un-ticked. Problem solved.. Thanks again :)
