In the form designer there is a line <company ABN to print here> in the Company Address block. But where to enter that ABN in the first place? I can't find any reference to ABN in the help file.

Do you mean simply type it in as another line in the company address panel? I could do that, but assumed from the way the existing text is written ...   <company ABN to print here> ... that the ABN is 'fetched' from
    elsewhere.

I don't see Company, though I do have Business > Manage Business Information. But there is nowhere in there to add an ABN. Are you looking at Home & Business 2013? (I do appreciate your efforts here Faye. It must seem like talking to a 5 yr old    :D  )

Hi Jon, I've checked and also could not find a specific area in the program to input the company ABN for it to be 'retrieved' and appear in that address panel, you'd need to add it manually for each 'layout'.

Since there are only 3 layouts (Invoice Default, Credit Default, Estimate Default), customise each one accordingly.

Faye - there are only 3 fields; Business name, Description and Tag.

TIP:  Branch can be  '001'   It is just for multiple company structures,  or leave blank.  '001' represents the main head office user of the ABN if I recall.  You sometimes see it on paperwork from the ATO.
