POS Admin does not 'see' my terminal. Both are on the same pc and user.

I have recently upgraded to 2014.  both POS Admin and POS Terminal were installed together and are running. 

My problem is that the terminal does not appear on the administrator.  how does Admin find the terminal database?

Thank you so much for your help.  I have finally managed to get the correct file located and its all systems go.
