Hi Tanya,
As far as I am aware...nope, you cannot create an invoice in one company file and then enter it as a bill in another...
unless you use a third party program...
The program I have heard of being used the most is Zed Access, which can export/import most transactions and lists from RA.
I am sure there are others but I am not aware of them.
cheers

That's right Angie. The guy's name is Steve Batten. He's been around for ages. You're right there may be others but I haven't heard of them. Of course I've only been using Reckon for 15 years. Years ago there used to be an odbc connector. I can remember seeing it at one of the conferences. I think support for it may have dropped off somewhere along the way. I imagine it would not be the kind of job you would undertake lightly. You would need to do your homework.0

Oh and the program is called Zed Axis.0

Hi Tanya
The short answer is Yes!.
If you can send me some details via email, I can give you some options depending on what your requirements are. It is possible to both transfer invoices as a total only (useful if you need to have open invoices at 30th June), or to transfer the entire invoice.

Graham mate, tell me more. You can't export invoices can you? And you can only import them with a hwole lot of messing around in Excel. I know. I've tried it. Or are you talking about one of the third part add ons? Please, share!0

Graham mate I'm an atheist. So are you using the odbc connector or what?0

Karl Irving has a third party utility called Data Transfer Utility, and for what it does it is worth every penny you pay for it. I have used it for years and it works beautifully
