Yes I can do that. But my understanding is that Estimates is supposed to work both ways, Customers and Suppliers
The "Estimates" icon on the home screen has arrows pointing to Invoices AND Purchase Orders
Yes that's right. That leads to my original question. How to create a PO from the Estimate ?
If the estimate has multiple items, must be all re-entered in the PO. Seems tedious and un-necessary
Example:Customer requests estimate for 20 different items, various quantitiesI create and issue estimateCustomer accepts, I issue invoice from the estimate
Now need to create Purchase Order, same items and quantitiesCannot use the estimateHave to re-enter all items and quantities as a PO
I have been patient for 2 weeks while there were issues with Hosted. Somebody at Reckon please respond to my query.
I have contacted Reckon Tech Support. They tell me that Estimates-to-PurchaseOrder is only available in Premier and Enterprise Editions. Would be nice if this was clearly stated in the Product Comparison webpage.
So in RA2014 Pro, the arrow from Estimates to Purchase Order is a "Bug"
PS I will live without this feature. I cannot justify the additional expense of upgrading my RA version
