Change customer to use different currency

I gather from the Help that in order to have invoices to a customer created in a different currency (in this case NZ dollars) I need to create the customer with that currency. However, before I upgraded to Accounts Pro 2014 I had already created the relevant customer, so they seem to be stuck with Australian dollars. Shoud I re-create the customer and try to merge them? Would that work, or else what is the cleanest solution? (I have already issued two invoices in Australian dollars, one of which has been paid n NZ dollars.)

Hi Keith,

I think you are correct in that it would be cleanest to create a new customer with the correct currency and merge the existing customer into the new one so you have the customer with the right currency and with out losing the existing transactions. Backup first, then give it a go.

No you cannot merge afterwards. You need to create a new customer with the correct currency and then make the old one inactive.
