Reckon Accounts Accounting: Small Business 2014 unable to upload a backup/company file

Hi I have just purchased Reckon Accounts Accounting: Small Business 2014 and am unable to upload a backup/company file from our previous edition Premier 2014. Its saying it cannot open as it is in a different edition. Is there any way to bypass without recreating all invoices again? How do I convert? Thanks in Advance

Hi Natali,

As you have purchased a "lesser" version you won't be able to open your file.

In most cases you can't get a file from a higher version to a lower version.

So you will either need to contact Reckon to get them to help you to purchase the correct version (they will do a pro rata on what you have already paid), or re-enter your data.

You can buy a Reckon Accounts Plus, which would be able to open a Premier file.
