Transferring Quickbooks EasyStart Lite 2011/2012 to Windows 8.1 PC

My old XP PC seems to have crashed today.  I was happily using Quickbooks EasyStart Lite 2011/2012 on it and renewed my license for it 6 months ago.  I have the install disk & want to install it on my Windows 8.1 PC. Will it work?  I have backups of all the data created. If it won't work any economical solutions?

    Nigel mate don't let anyone tell you that you can't. If you are running Windows 8.1 Professional or above you most certainly can. I hope the retailer hasnt done something fool like sell you home or home premium. Call me Kevin t:0407744914
