Hi guys,
I randomly keep getting the error "An error occurred when Reckon Accounts tried to access the company file. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact Reckon Technical Support and provide them with the following error codes: (-6000, -83).
It eventually opens the file when I keep trying the methods I use below after 30 minutes or so.
1. Double click file a few times
2. Open Reckon Premier 2014 and browse file
3. Right click open with "Reckon Application"
The setup I have is two servers - Terminal server which runs the application and SQL server which holds the database and files.
I have gone through the knowledgebase - http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=404
Is it normal to keep having to try different methods to open file? Constantly delete the .ND file?
Regards
Thanh

Why isn't the database resident on the same server as the application? Is the database server manager installed on the server that holds the company file? I think this ia a very interesting setup. Let me know if you get it working.

Reduce the load on the Terminal server disk read/write. Yes the database server manager is installed. It works but opening file is not consistent0
