When email invoice the inoivces are all called moz_mapi-1

Been trying to fix this for about 2 months. A 1000 dollar program on new computer and latest operating system and doesn't work.


Hi,
    Every time I try to email an invoice. The attached invoice is called moz_mapi-1 .
Even though it can be opened with PDF and is a PDF file.
Have no idea why.
Was working ok a month back.??

Using Reckon accounts Pro 2014.
With windows 8.1 and Thunderbird email program.

Hi Scott,

Sorry to hear your continuing dificulties with emailing.

Although Thunderbird has never been supported by us, on earlier operating system some configuration adjustments made it workable.  These tips are contained in KB3771.

We have not heard from other Thunderbird users on Windows 8.1 to offer any further comments.

Perhaps solutions can be found on other forums dealing with Thunderbird on Windows 8.1 such as:
