Adjust Stock

When adjusting stock is it possible to get a search button for the stock we wish to adjust, as I have currently 7826 stock items that I have to search through as well as inactive stock

    I see your issue and you have a good idea.   The Adjust Stock (whether by quantity or value)  lacks a sort, filter or selection tool  anywhere,  so you're left with scrolling in the alphabetical sequence of the item name.  Pre-sorting the item list into say qty sequence or tricks like that to try and second guess that non-zero items are of more likely interest, make no difference.    There seems no backdoor entry into the 'adjustment'  (effectively a journal tool), unless you were to attempt trying to mommic what is happening on that screen.  But any journal needs to adjust the QTY on hand, and the background calculations like the ultimate stock value of the overall quantity left (for each item so adjusted).


    Other AP's may have a thought on this, if there is say, any ADD-ON module by Development Partners.  Otherwise it may have to be in the 'idea' list as you've kindly suggested here.

    Gary , your comments are great. The ability to sort, filter or select particular stock item is possible, but it has to be paid for, we can do it.

    Great idea as Ive had the same issue for years. Definitely requires this option.
