We are using Quicken Cashbook 2004 and need to know if we purchase Reckon Home & Business 2015 will it automatically upgrade our files from Quicken or do we purchase an upgrade?

Hey Geoff, thank for your post. If upgrading you would have two options - get an outright upgrade version (preferential pricing for upgrades) or a yearly subscription which provides updates as they are released. When you upgrade your file, it is not a direct import. You will need to upgrade to the Home & Business 2005/06 trial before upgrading to Home & Business 2015.

Hi Geoff, as Mirko explained you can either buy the upgrade or the annual subscription to install on the computer.  The data file itself will not just upgrade straight to that version as Mirko said, it does have to be upgraded via 05/06 first.  Send me an email if you require any further help

Thanks Kevin. We seem to have little glitches that appear now and then and our experience this happens when the program is no longer supported.

Previous versions (particularly more than 10 years old) can have problems running on current Windows systems.  If you currently have the update PATCH installed for CashBook version 2004, I have found Windows 7 can not load it.  So the version you have now on your computer may not restore if you already have the patch installed.

As someone else mentioned, support is for current versions of the program running on recommended windows versions.

    Hope that makes sense?
