Change Cheque number prefill to not be a number

Hello. Is there a way to NOT have a cheque number automatically prefilled when writing cheques in Reckon Plus?  EFT is the preference and only a few cheques written.  Have to change cheque number to EFT each time a payment is created in the write cheques screen.  Thanks.

What I have done is to enter EFT1 in the cheque number field.

Then it will number each as EFT with a number on the end.

just jumping on board this question so if i just start doing this from today going forward it will just automatically come up with eft1, eft2 so forth? thanks!

Hi Jess,

No, it will always come up with a Number.  You'll have to change it each time.
