Reckon Accounts Premier 2015 Accountants Edition Installation interrupted error

I am trying to install Reckon Accounts Premier 2015 R2 Accountants Edition on a 2012 R2 terminal server. When I run through the installer it gets to the point where it will start its install and fail with installation was interrupted before reckon accounts could be install.
There is a corresponding error in the event log:

I have tried to run the setup in selective startup as local administrator and removed the R1 version of the product, still no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

Be careful reading this, but perhaps this is a similar situation as your, be-it-all an earlier version.....

Thanks for the reply Gary. In the end the fix was:
- Use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove the 2015 enterprise version (was not listed in add/remove programs but some components of the application still existed on the server)
- Stop and start the print spooler service
- Then run the install using the premier key
- Finally I also updated the database manager server components on the data server hosting the datafiles2 -
Terrific Luke. That 'spooler' aspect has caught a few us before, now you mention that aspect. Good outcome for you.
