Hi I am running pos for my cafe. The data base file was on a networked computer that also had accounts and administrator on it. This computer was attacked by a hacker and I got locked out. It was lucky I had a back up of the pos data base file and I just added the file to the pos terminal computer. I have since not been able to pos any transactions to accounts. Is there anyway I can get the end of day files and bring them home and post on my home computer that has both pos admin and reckon accounts on it. Thanks in advance.

Piece of cake. You can copy the pos files to a flash drive change the file extension to iif and import them directly to Reckon desktop. I do this all the time.

Yes. They are in the admonistrator folder. They have an extension *.pos.

Thank you. Once I find them do I just add them to the home computer in the same folder and post to accounts ?
