ReckonAccounts2013 the date field changes from Aust to US format. T

When importing transactions into ReckonAccounts2013 the date field changes from Aust to US format. The source information is formatted to dd/mm/yyyy, the target computer is formatted the same way but between the export from the source file and the IIL file the date format changes. Can someone give me some idea how to fix this problem (other than manually editing dates either in the import file of the transactions file after processing)
