change employee from full time salary Monthly pay to 3 days per week

I wish to change an employee from full time salary to 3 days per week salary, still on monthly pay cycle. How do i change this in their details to ensure pay calculates correctly, Leave entitlements calculate correctly from change date, maintaining any accrued leave etc

    Adjust the details in the Earnings section on the Employee Record to reflect the new amount.

    Thank you, I will need to adjust the leave accrual to reflect the new amount, will this affect the history?

    Hi Peter,

    Yes, you'll need to create a new leave item and accrue at their special rate (adjusted for 3 days a week work).

    Alternatively, if paying the employee per hour rather than a Salary rate, then the issue disappears as you will accumulate only on hours worked.
