Transaction reports - Filtered by class

I am using accounts hosted and am having trouble gettting the class filter to work on a transaction report.  The transactions all have a class applied but when I run a transaction list by date report I cannot get it to populate the class field and therefore enable me to filter by class.  I have used the report and run it in previous years. Any ideas?

Fern; you've probably run a P&L detail by class which will give you all the transaction net figures.

Because a normal transacton report detail is based on gross figures it cannot go down to class same with the General ledger report
