Failed to load State ABA History

Error displayed when creating an ABA file or clicking "ABA File History" in Online History. The ABA file is still created, but history can not be viewed. Very annoying. This has only started happening since around Xmas 2016. No information has been changed in our Company Information.

you might have a - or something like '&' in the banking details, check all of the suppliers/employees being paid.

Hi Megals,

Based on your error message I'd recommend opening your ABA file in Notepad and just have a quick look if there are any invalid characters in the header line (first line).

Depending on your version, the location will look like this -
C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Reckon Accounts 20xx-xx\<version>20xx-xx\<QBi file>\Export Files\ABA Files\

I have checked the ABA files notepad and there aren't any special characters in them.

HI Megals. Before you actually create the ABA file in Online Banking, are you able to preview it and print it out, or can't you even do that? John L G

I am able to preview and print the ABA file without a problem. It is just when generating the ABA or viewing history that the error occurs. I am wondering if there is a template file (ie. .html or .xml) that is corrupt, or similar.
