Reckon accounts 2017 tax update question

I just updated Reckon accounts 2017 tax update that told me to turn off QB Database service manager do I have to turn it back on after installation? Need to know soon tried to ring support the wait is over 30mins

Hi Narelle,

If the service isn't running when Reckon Accounts is launched, it will start it for you.
If you have any trouble, you'll find it in the 'Services' tab in your Task Manager where you'll be able to start it manually if required.

Thanks I wasn't even sure what it did but I started it and hoped for the best
