Tell me, do I really have to update my Reckon file at 01/07/18, each year the update costs me just under $4000 , there is no change to the payroll tax table, can I not update and save spending that amount of money

    Ahem the tax tables ARE CHANGING. Why are you paying $4000.00? Sounds pretty inflated.

    Heather.  Apart from what Kevin has stated, it is quite likely that you may only hold an annual subscription licence, which means that 7 days after it expires, you will no longer be able to enter any information into Reckon Accounts.  At that time it will be read only.

    A major change this year is also the Single Touch Payroll, mandatory lodging for employees who had 20+ employees (as at 1st April 2018) so if you are in that category then whatever software you use  must be able to manage the payroll lodging......
