STP upload - is Auskey needed

Hi, 

we have set up STP in Reckon and have provided the software ID to ATO. I'm just wondering if the computer/person lodging the pay event in GovConnect needs to have an Auskey on there computer. I ask because I'm the person who looks after Payroll in the office and therefore it will be me that does the pay event/upload in GovConnect, but i do not have an Auskey, Someone else in the office does. It is required?
