cursor out of sync

Very frustrating that using a mouse I cannot click on any hot buttons.

I must click about 1cm above the hot button.

Any help, please?

Only happened since the recent update 

Windows 10 on laptop and Surface Pro. Neither works as intended.

    Hi John,
    On the Surface Pro, are you using the trackpad, touchscreen or external (plugged in) mouse to make selections?
