Corrupted employee profile crashes reckon

Hi
I have an employee in reckon hosted who for over a year has crashed reckon everytime I try to open it. I have spoken to support but they couldn't explain it. I am able to pay the employee but not click on their profile therefore can't update anything such as pay rates. Since it is a new financial year I think I might be best to set up a new profile. Before I do this does anyone have any other suggestions of how to fix the problem. I can't go to a back up as it has been so long since I discovered the employee file was corrupt so I wouldn't know where to go.
I am however wondering how do I delete or make inactive the old profile if I can't access it. I use deputy to export the timesheets into reckon so I need to point it to the correct profile but will need to delete the old one
thanks

In addition to my question above I set up the new employee profile but I still need to be able to make the corrupt profile inactive, how do I do this.

Hi Leanne,
For what you've described I think its best that we start this by having a chat with our Hosted Support team or potentially even our Data Recovery team to determine the root cause of this and if there are any fixes.
How to request a data file repair service for a Reckon Accounts (Desktop / Hosted) company data file

Thanks Rav, I did spend a couple of hours discussing with hosted support and got nowhere. I will attempt it again but to save my sanity is there anyway of speaking to someone in support who knows their stuff and wont make me spend hours on the phone. your advise is appreciated.0
