I've been able to import in the past an invoices iif file into Reckon. Of late, the file seems to crash Reckon Hosted when i import the iif file.
I'm exporting the iif file from Briefcase and importing it into Reckon Hosted.

Does anyone know why?

Importing via IIF is never a good way to do and when something goes wrong, it is really hard to identify the issue. I can take a look at the file you tried to import and see if I can pinpoint the issue.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

The best alternative option is utilizing Reckon SDK, this way you can do a lot more than IIF. for example:

    1. Duplicate prevention
    2. Better error troubleshooting
    3. Import data faster and more reliable. For eg, if you want to import payments for existing invoices based on the invoice number and the outstanding amount, or import a list of vendors and only add new vendors, for existing vendors, can have the option to update address info or not, etc..
