how to uninstall Quicken Personal Plus 2011

Many years ago I used quicken Personal Plus 2011, but have not used it for years.  I now want to install a trial of Reckon Personal Plus 2018, but when I load the trial software it wants me to unload the previous version.  when I follow the instructions to uninstall, I get an error message:
"Error 1723.  There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package.  A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run.  contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I have no desire to keep any of the data from the 2011 version and want a clean start for the trial software.

    Download Revo Uninstaller and use that to uninstall your Reckon software
