STP can you start submitting anytime

I am not required to start submitting STP til July 1. Can I start submitting now to make sure everything is working? I know I will still need to supply Group Certificates for the year, but will the ATO accept a partial year's entry?

    Hi Cathy, I do the worst thing an admin employee can do and take off for a couple of months in early July leaving my employer to do my admin roles. Because of this I wanted to get STP up and running ahead of time so I can train her. It is all set up and lodging successfully, I would say go ahead and start, it will then be one less thing to stress about at the end of the financial year. Good luck
