Hi Ruth
What changes have you recently made to any templates or the file.
When you say it calculates and displays is correct, do you mean it isn't appearing correct on the inv template? Can you give us a screen shot0 -
i have made some changes to the template (customized)
in the past it simply changed the look of the invoice not the calculations
not sure how to email an invoice to you

Hi Ruth
So we are talking it all displays correctly on the screen, and when you print the invoices doesn't add the gst to the total, is this correct? The amount column being inclusive or exclusive of GST will go back to your preferrence in sales "inc. gst" this will be displayed the same when printed.
Check your template layout and double click on the sample amount next to total "this should be 'data field for total', and will show incl. or excl depending on your pref. Check amount box for gst this should be 'data field for gst' & again for balance due, this should be data field for 'balance due'. If you are showing payments & credits, this should be the data field for 'payments & credits" - if you are using the wrong fields in the wrong place it want print correctly.
If your preference is to incl. gst then the amount, total, and balance due will all show the same amount (unless a payment made). If your preference is 'not to include gst then the amount column & total will be exclusive of gst, gst box will show gst & balance due will have it added in.
