link to best instructions to process STP accounts hosted

What is the best, simplest, most up to date instruction (link) for STP for accounts hosted. I have uploaded 3 files and every time it is a crapshoot to try and get the file uploaded. Push every button til something works. I download the file on the computer like ABA but that doesn't seem to connect. I do the same things a couple of times and then presto it appears.
