HELP: I have errors messages appearing when using my Reckon Accounts Desktop / Hosted data file

If you are encountering problems when performing your day to day tasks, such as error messages popping up or the program crashing, then this is a clear symptom of a data file problem or an application installation problem

If the problem occurs on more than one data file, then it is likely an installation issue.
You may need to consider removing and then re-installing the software.
(not applicable on the Hosted platform)


If a different data file does not exhibit a problem, then it is likely isolated to the specific data file you are working on.

If it is a data file problem, we recommend that you check whether you have any recent backups from a time when the problem was not yet present. Restoring a recent backup is usually the best option.

If however you have no recent backup (but will be making regular backups in the future), you can request a data service so we can perform an analysis to determine whether we can resolve the issue.
