Error uploading STP using Reckon Portal. ‘instance.PayrollEvent.PayrollDetails requires property “TotalGross”, instance.PayrollEvent.PayrollDetails requires property “TotalPAYG”’ We do the bookkeeping for our client and this is her 2nd time uploading the STP report. She is getting this error and says that she is not doing anything different to last week. Any suggestions please. Thank you

    This message comes up when there is a mismatch between the file types for the STP pay event export file in your Reckon accounting software and the submission option selected in GovConnect.

    To put it a bit more simply, you may have chosen 'Update Event' option in GovConnect STP whereas the pay event was created as a normal one ie. not created as a Update Event in Reckon Accounts Hosted. 
    You just have to make sure that whatever type of STP file you are creating in your Reckon accounting software is what you are selecting as your upload option in GovConnect.
