Reckon Personal freezing at loading page

have uninstalled completely and reinstalled Reckon Personal 2018 and now will not load past the loading page, have to task manager to get out of it. tried uninstalling, remove AV ,reinstall and still the same issue. any ideas? Win 10, all updates etc.

    Resolution was to reduce the .QIF file name from 10 characters (Kitchenman.QIF) to 8 characters (Kitchnmn.QIF).  It would appear that this restriction started to appear in or around 2018/2019 versions as I can't remember it happening with 2017 or before.

    Hi. I did see that issue however mine seems more relTws to just starting the application from the start menu and not actually opening a file. Just the application

    actually now you mention it when you open Reckon from the start menu it opens last opened file which is over 8 chars. renamed, reopened and all seems to work fine..for now
