Trouble backing up Reckon file

Im running Reckon Accounts Home and Business 2017. When I try to backup I get an error message saying ünable to locate source file. 'Then unable to reload current file after copy. Any help would be appreciated. Bill

Dear Rav
I have worked through the suggested steps to create a new data file. Unfortunately this did not work. I get the message the "file did not backup successfully". Do you have any further suggestions.
