Share Portfolio using Reckon Accounts Premier Edition 2000

I am using Reckon Accounts Premier Edition 2000 and was hoping to be able to set it up to keep track of a Share Portfolio.  I would like to report any profits/losses on the Sale of Shares.  I know that I should probably be using Inventory Items, but I think I am missing something as the result isn't quite right.  If anyone has had any success with this could you please share your secret to success. :)

    Do you mean Premier 2020 or Premier 2000?
