For those that were not following David Hunt's thread in relation to an alternative to PP, then this is the reply from Rav when he closed it down:

Hi David Hunt & all.

We don’t permit the advertising of other accounting software or condone the promotion of users leaving Reckon for other software in any form on this platform. Any further conversations of this nature may be removed from the Reckon Community without notice.

There will be no further development of new major features/functionality introduced into the Reckon Personal Range which has previously been advised on the forum. Our teams will continue to ensure the Personal Range software is compliant with tax legislation, and where feasible, error/bug fixes will be investigated & resolved.

To answer the title of this post on where Reckon products are going, our current focus is on developing our cloud products such as Reckon One and our mobile apps.

An online version of Reckon Personal is also under review. If this is something that is of interest to you I'd recommend adding your vote to the feature request that a fellow user has raised in our Reckon Ideas Portal for this. Check it out here - https://ideas.reckon.com/ideas/RKN1-I-701
At the moment its only received one vote but I'd highly recommend you & others add to it if you would find this beneficial to your use of the product.

I for one was not aware of this link as I am sure was anybody else.  If you are one of many that are not happy with the way PP customers are treated, please add your comments to this thread.  Not for one minute do I think that they will ever release a cloud version, but we need to show  how many of their customers are very fed up with the disdain shown by Reckon.

Yes Calijh, Unfortunately most of these types of programs do not have the PROMISED BACK UP TO ANSWER QUESTIONS, WHICH COULD BE EXPLAINED so quickly and easier to understand by a simple phone call. Lack of communication is very sad and after your money and fees are paid, they let you float. Allan Noffke, Partner.

Debra, I've already made a statement on the future development of the Personal Range and it has been copied in the opening post of this very thread.
