Reckon Accounts Shortcut does not open software

Late week the Reckon Shortcut failed to initiate the program. I performed my annual update in August this year changing from 2019 to 2020 in August 2020.

In the past few week the Personal Plus 2020 has performed slowly and was taking some time to just move through its screens. I have been using Reckon and its predecessor Quicken for some 25 years. So I have 25 or so years of financial data.

Today, to overcome the problem, I have uninstalled my Reckon 2020, downloaded the Reckon Personal 2020 again, run set-up and still the short-cut icon fails to initiate. Repeated the uninstall, download, set-up processes another 2 time and still the shortcut does not initiate program.

Further, using Properties I found the file qw.exe was the necessary executive file and could not find this file in the directory.

Open to any assistance or instruction.
