I need to migrate the datafile to another ReckonHosted account, therefore i tried to download the dataafile but encountered the following error....

Can you please outline the process you are currently going through.
Also, where specifically in that process are you encountering this error message.
On the "No Company Open", i click on the red toolbox and click download file.
The search for the file to download and click again to commence downloading.
That is when i encounter the error message.
Would it be an issue if i am using Mozilla Firefox browser?
If the file is on one Hosted account, you need to download it from the Hosted Q: drive to your local hard disk.
Then log off the first Hosted account.
Then login to the second Hosted account.
You can then upload the file from your local computer to the Q:\Upload folder of the second Hosted account.

What you advised was already what i was doing except i was using Firefox browser.
When i re-tried using Chrome, i did not encounter any error.
So, the issue seems to lie with the browser.
