STP Payment Pending

Options

A fortnight ago I entered my STP payment as usual. I've just been in to do this week's and discovered that the 19/03/2021 entry in GovConnect is still showing "Pending". Obviously I have given it time to be accepted by the ATO and I have clicked on the payment to show the detail which usually changes the "pending" status to "success" with no improvement.

Any idea what I should try next? This fortnight's pay is already successful while the old one is still a problem.

Hi Cheryl I am having the same issue, has anyone come back to you with suggestions as yet? Mine was for 14th march and I've submitted several since but this one remains pending

    Someone help please!

I think this is a glitch on the ATO’s side so - whilst it’s annoying to see a “Pending” status in the list - if you’ve submitted since, the latest Payrun date stamped “Success” will be treated as the most current.

Thanks for this. Our accountant seems to think the ATO have recognised it and has suggested it is a software problem on Reckons side. She has suggested we contact our STP provider. ANy idea how we can reach someone within reckon to take a look?

If I try to replace the file to resubmit it, the date of this file doesn;t appear ont he list to replace. So it won;t let me upload it as a new file, nor as a replacemnt.

Not just on Reckon side, I have seen the same thing with Quickbooks online

So I wonder if both quickbooks and Reckon use a third party STP provider, which is coincidentally the same? Or are you calling Reckon on line Quickbooks On Line as it used to be called this until the Company split

No it’s not Reckon online, Quickbooks online and the process is totally different. The program is totally different.

Still messages to say one particular pay has an error and yet logging in to tax portal shows it’s been lodged

@Acctd4 is correct. If subsequent STP lodgements for the employees concerned have been successful then there is no cause for concern or action

This is because STP reports ytd figures rather than the details of any particular pay period
