    Hi @Tania Lindenmayer

Can you let me know the process you're going through and what is happening specifically when you try?

Are you encountering an error message on-screen etc?

    Hi

We are creating the file in Reckon and then going into the stp my gov connect click on upload the file which opens the folder where the file is saved click on that and then that box closes and we only have the choice to confirm or cancel. When we confirm it opens up the folder where the file is saved. I can not get any further. We were able to upload the last pay file earlier this week. Not sure what the problem is.

Have you tried saving the file to the desktop?

Yes, it just seems to be stuck in a loop. We have even had different people try doing it. Frustrating as there are no error messages, we need to process the first pay of the new financial year, and I need to update the file before we do that.

I'm having a similar problem - can upload the STP file, a green "Success" banner appears, but then it doesn't appear in my list of payment runs, and so I can't confirm/submit the upload. This happen both on Hosted using the Internet Explorer window, and downloading the file to desktop and using Chrome.

This is my first pay run using Hosted, could be that? Could be due to the pay run stradling the financial year? Could by GovConnecvt playing up? Any feedback from others greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Tania Lindenmayer

    I noted in your opening post that you mentioned this is an EOFY finalisation you're attempting to upload. Can I just confirm;

Has the STP submission been created as an EOFY finalisation in Hosted itself and

When you get to the stage to upload it, are you selecting the 'Finalise Year' option?

    Hi James,

Do you have the the Reckon Accounts Hosted product selected in your GovConnect AND are you uploading your STP file to that product? Has your STP file been created as a normal pay event?

Thanks Tav! Just realised that since is my first time and is a new software package, I will have to register that software through the GovConnect process.

We are not new. We have been using this for a long time. We were able to upload the last pay file earlier in the week. I can't do it anymore.

Was anybody able to resolve this problem? I am having the same issue so have been unable to complete EOFY. Thanks

Hi, we had to remove any JOBKEEPER-START-FN01 from any pay in the 2020-2021 period. it was a massive lot of work but I was able to do it after that.

Interesting experience, Tania. I did not have that problem at all. When I look at the details of my EOY finalisation in Reckon GovConnect, I can see under allowances, in the detail, for an employee, a line which states:

Allowances $0.00 JOBKEEPER-START-FN10 or whatever FN was applicable to individual employees.

This is certainly not an issue I've come across either so it sounds more like there was a corruption of some sort going on there Tania 😫

    Hi

It started fortnight 1, not 10 and that makes sense as that was the prior financial year. It did work and I have been able to lodge the final pay.

Experiencing a similar problem to above - unable to load EOFY submission. I waited for a considerable period of time the first time and the second and third time and then the fourth attempt I waited two hours assuming that it was a large file but nothing happened. I have uploaded the file again and it is sitting at the confirmation screen with no response:

When I click on Confirm and upload the file, the screen returns as above.

    Any advice?

Have you checked that not pays in the year still had the allowance JOBKEEPER-START-FN01. Once we removed that it worked.

Thank you Tania - there is no pay that has JOBKEEPER-START-FN01 and now Reckon has timed out.
