I had to complete a SGC Statement for unpaid super for some casual employees. This was done by completing the Superannuation Guarantee Charge (SGC) Statement and making payment to the ATO online.

What else needs to be done in Reckon Hosted?

    You need to create a new account call it SGC Super make it of the type 'Other expense' This will separate it from the usual expense account. You need to do this because its not deductible. You need to move the super expense from Superannuation to SGC super. You can do this via a journal. Call ne if this is unclear
