You have to add the Reckon Hosted tab onto the Gov Connect window and use that tab to upload

Hi Kris, i did that but when i upload the file , error on the screen came up "Failed to update company.: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "company_payer_abn_wpn_branch_key"

Not sure what this means, my memory is poor but i think i need to put a a numeric value in the branch section of compnay info? or i dont have to do this.

Actually I only recently did this and I’m trying to think, I think you are correct. But you know you should ring technical support they will fix it immediately

    Hi Stacey,

Do you have your branch number in the 'Company Information' section in Reckon Accounts Hosted? And does it match the branch number on your STP entity in GovConnect?

No, we don't have a branch but i think it has to do with the name of the company. A trust is attached to the company and for tax purposes we use the Trust ABN but company name is different on the information page in Reckon Hosted. I think this could be the problem

Ok, yes that might be the problem. Is the ABN and legal name of the entity in your new Reckon Accounts Hosted file the same as the one listed on the STP entity in GovConnect? If not, they'll need to be in order for the submissions to be accepted in GovConnect.

If you do give our Hosted support team a call we can have a technician check it over with you if you need.

Copy the company name from Gov Connect and paste into name section of company details in Reckon

mine was also a trust with a very long name and I thought that was the problem, but in the end it was a branch code that I wasn’t even aware of, that tech support sorted out for me
