Have you done a rebuild of your data? If not you should do it - 3 times, and see if that fixes it. I don’t know what that message means but start with the rebuild

After backing up is completed i get this message and an apology for the inconvenience leaving me with no other option but to shut the software down

I found this, might be worth taking a look
I had the same error message and so I followed the instructions below and did a clean un-install and re-install and the error has disappeared.
Performing a clean un-install and re-install of Reckon Accounts Business
