How do I remove an adjustment /credit note off the wrong invoice ?

I accidently paid the wrong invoice with a credit / adjustment note for a client! Cannot see where i can remove the link to fix it up!

    Try deleting the credit note, after printing it out for exact reference, and reenter it

    Kris is right. Delete the credit note.
