Links in Reckon Accounts Hosted 2022

I was happy to see that there is now a link function in Reckon Accounts Hosted 2022. I have gone over the instructions provided numerous times and I am yet to be able to paste a link in to the box provided.

Does anyone have clearer instructions other than those provided by Reckon?

I called the technical support help line and the representative admitted he knew nothing about links.

HELP!!!!

Thanks :)😊

Sorry, I replied to your comment in the other thread before seeing this post but regardless, where are you running into trouble with this? Pasting the link from your cloud service into Hosted or are you running into an error message etc?

Yes pasting the link from icloud.

I assume from the article that we can also paste from local server, however when i highlight the file and then copy, there is no paste option available in the link box

When you've got the cursor in the 'Enter link information here' field, just hit Ctrl+V (Windows) to paste rather than right clicking. If you're using Mac, I believe the keyboard shortcut is Command+V

Let me know if that works for you.

The link won't open from within the software itself. You can copy the link from the transaction and paste it into a browser which will open it.

There's info about this in the FAQ's section in the Links guide which I'll link (pun intended) below -

MMMM, ok it worked, but that is a very long winded way of going about things.
