Reckon Hosted Desktop 2022 - Payroll Slowness

Hello,

We've created a new company data file for the new year, and have noticed that payroll section is exceptionally slow, from trying to process time sheets to creating new employees. All other areas are quicker though.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few suggestions for improving file speed & performance - If it's a new file, it shouldn't be slow at all.

Do you Verify the file on a regular basis ?  

• Verify Data & then run the Rebuild Data 3 times (both these options are under the File dropdown menu > Utilities)
• Re-sort ALL of your Lists - Where available, this option is usually under the main list name button at the bottom of the screen. To re-sort all payee name lists at once, open a Write Chq & with your mouse in the payee name field, click Ctrl + L to open a list of ALL names. Do the same for ALL available lists under your Lists dropdown menu eg Chart of Accounts, Items, Payroll Items etc
